Architects nowadays take pallets as a source of innovation which can be used for decorative pieces all around the house, in garden, in wall art, as flower vases, in kitchen or even for bonfire. Thus the different purposes fulfilled by the used pallets are as follows:
- As standing garden in house lawn- As pallet has wider gaps between its slat, plants can be made to grow in there. In case of plastic pallet, it has small cup sizes holes of different shapes. These cup holes can be used to keep flower pots of small sizes.
- Coffee table- Pallet can be used as tables to be kept in living rooms. These can be made as middle tables which every living room has. The gaps underneath can be used as newspaper place and the surface can be used as a place to keep flower pots, coffee mugs and different household items.
- Toy wooden box- Four or more pallets can be joined together and can be used to make a wooden box with an upper opening where all the toys can be kept. Not only toys but it can be used in other case as well, like keeping old magazines.
- Shoe rack- Shoes perfectly fit in a pallet. The back sides of the pallets have parallel and perpendicular slats which help in keeping these shoes.
- Swings- An attachment of these pallets with chain or rope at all the four corners of it forms a swing. This can be a place of relaxation.
- A wine bar- Some wooden pallets can be stuck together with a fancy countertop, which can be placed at a corner of the living room as an outdoor wine bar.
- Lighting lamps- These pallets can be made into lighting lamps to give a rustic look in the outdoors of the houses.
- Pallet artwork- These pallets can be painted with colors and be stuck on the walls as a piece of artwork.
- Stools- some pallets are stacked together and a spongy faux seat in fitted at the top. This can be used as extra chairs or stools for sitting areas.

These are some of the ways in which this used pallets can be used again. Other than this, the used pallet can also be repair, reused or can be transformed to wood fiber products like wood mulch or fuel. Due to increase demand of used pallet for crafting works, they are not recycled much.
