Display decoder is a device which is used to convert one digital format into another. The main use of this in LED is to provide high quality display and is mainly used in TV sets. In LED TV’s, this is considered to be the most essential part as it is used to transform the pictures and alphabets from one digital format to another. The Binary Coded Decimal (BCD) to 7-Segment Display Decoder is used to prepare the display decoder. This 7-segment LED (Light Emitting Diode) or LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) type displays, is used to provide a very convenient way of displaying information or digital data in the form of numbers, letters or even alpha-numerical characters.
