Few Requisites That One Has to Remember Before Playing the Mixed Netball Competition

Netball, as a game, was originally designed for women and is a team-based sport. In each team, there are seven players playing it. Netball is one of the preferred games in Commonwealth games as well; beside women, men also take an equal interest in playing the game. It offers the players a series of physical and mental benefits. Besides that, it also makes the players uplift their ability to socialize.
Different Steps to Perform to Be A Part of Mixed Netball Game

- Registration of the team:
The first step to play the mixed netball is to get the team registered. Now in order to get the registration the captain of the team will have to land upon the sport’s website. After rolling up on the site team has to fill up the particular form, once done has to submit the full payment for the registration.
- Registration of Players:
The players will be offered an online form for being registered. Then the players will get their names on the score sheet announced weekly. Before making to the court, the team players need to sign that score sheet. In case, if the player does not sign the registration score sheet then he will not be considered eligible for playing in the finals. At most, the player has to play at least one game of mixed netball to reach the final.
- Distribution of players:
In order to start with the mixed netball game, there should be at least one man in the court followed by a maximum of three men in the court. The team should be mindful that three men are mandatory and if required additional teammates can be called for as well. But in any case, if one of the men gets wounded during the game, and if the team has no more men in the court, then the team has to confirm that more five men are ready to be in the court.
- Game Timing:
The whole duration of the game during the preliminary round is for 16 minutes halves. The umpires decide 8-minute break for each half. The teammates get the half time interval for two minutes. Just note that the players follow the same rule during the final game as well. However, if the matches draw then the players will be asked to play for some extra time. While playing for the extra time, the teammates will have the liberty to change their position at the start of the game. Now if the team again makes a draw during the extra time, then no further game will be allotted. And the existing game will continue unless any one of the team makes two more goals.
- Information on The Uniform:
The players are suggested to wear the proper uniform and should wear the right sports shoe. In fact, if the player does not have the right shoe then he cannot make it to the court. The player is not allowed to play in the mixed netball in bare feet. On top of that wearing, jewelry is an offense as well. If there is any smartwatch or tracker then the umpire might ask to remove that at once. The plays should be mindful of their nails, as it should be trimmed properly. If necessary, then they can wear gloves as well.
- Brief on Misconduct:
The players should be mutually respectful towards each other. On top of that, they should show equal courtesy to the umpire as well. In case of any kind of misbehavior, the team will be expelled from being part of the mixed netball competition.
